LEECH CARE

Upon receiving your leeches, drain off old water. It is best if you rinse them with cold fresh water.

Place them in a container (the cooler they were shipped in) or a plastic container, along with ½ gallon of fresh water and refrigerate them at 35 to 40 degrees.

Change water as needed: every 1 to 4 days. DO NOT use chlorinated or softened water. Water should be cold before changing it.

Check daily and remove any weak or dying leeches.
